- Exercise regularly.
- Avoid junk foods; instead eat vegetables, fruits and plenty of grains.
- Don't be out in the sun too long, as the ultra violet rays are harmful to your skin.
Home remedies for pimple and acne:
1. Ice
Rubbing ice on pimple removes the redness, swelling and inflammation. It promotes blood circulation to the infected area and helps in tightening the skin pores. It also removes the dirt and oil from your skin.
2. Lemon Juice
Apply lemon juice directly to the skin and leave it for an hour. Lemon juice helps in drying out the pimples. It has vitamin C and anti-bacterial properties that help in reducing the spreading of the pimples. But before trying this, ensure that your skin is not irritated by lemon juice. You can mix the lemon juice with water to lower its concentration.
3. Toothpaste
You can apply white toothpaste to the affected area before going to bed. Avoid using gel toothpastes. In the morning, wash your face with lukewarm water and feel the change.
4. Egg Whites
In this method, separate the egg white from yolk. Then you can use your fingers or cotton balls to apply the egg white to your skin. Leave the egg white mixture on your skin up to an hour for best results. Your skin will glow and begin to tighten.
5. Garlic
Cut garlic cloves into pieces, rub it on your skin and leave it for five minutes and then wash it with lukewarm water. For best results, repeat it several times a day. Apply garlic because it is rich in sulphur which helps in quick healing of the pimples. It is powerful antifungal, antioxidant and antiseptic.
6. Potato
Potato is full of potassium, sulphur, phosphorus and chloride. All these components can help in the reduction of the blemishes. It also has antioxidant property which nourishes your skin and promotes healthy growth of skin cells. Use potato juice by directly applying on your pimples or you can directly rub the potato slices on your face in a circular motion. Leave it for around half an hour and wash it with lukewarm water.
7. Water and steam
Drinking plenty of water throughout the day flushes most of the impurities out of the body. You can boil water in a container and place a towel over the container and your head to get the benefits of steam. Steam can help to open the pores and flush out the impurities.
8. Papaya
Prepare papaya paste by mashing up its flesh. Apply it directly on the skin and leave it for half an hour, then rinse it with lukewarm water.
9. Baking Soda
Use baking soda and warm water to form a paste. Then apply the paste to your skin, leave it for up to an hour and then rinse. Baking soda is great at clearing up of blemishes.
10. Manuka Honey
Manuka honey has anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties which is helpful in healing of the wounds. Apply manuka honey on the pimple, leave it for 5 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.
