4. It is also called as "Devil's Triangle" as hundreds of people and numerous ships & planes have disappeared inside this triangle with no good explanation.

5. Whenever any plane or ship disappears in the triangle, no debris are found. The reason behind this is given that the Gulf Stream that runs near the triangle, which quickly get rids of the debris.

7. The underwater topography of this region goes from a gentle sloping continental shelf to an extremely deep drop-off. Some of the world's deepest trenches are found in this triangle. Ships or planes that sink in to these deep trenches will probably never be found.

8. It is said that there is presence of methane hydrates on the continental shelves. These methane bubbles rising up are capable enough to sink the ships, but there are no methane reserves beneath the triangle.

10. Unusual hexagonal clouds present in this region generates down-burst of cold air from aloft which can hit the surface like bomb, exploding outward like a giant squall line of wind & water. No ship will be able to survive such a storm & no airplane can with stand such a wind.

11. The Bermuda triangle covers an area of approximately 4,44,000 miles of sea. Its effect can be felt outside of the triangular area too.
